Canter’s Deli, Fairfax

Even after all the tacos I ate at the “Sneaker Show And Tell” on Saturday, I still decided to grab a late night snack afterwards. After some debate and aimless driving through rain in the heart of LA, I found myself at the renowned Canter’s Deli on Fairfax.

I’m by no means exaggerating when I say that this place serves everything. I tried going through this menu, but I just couldn’t. They had everything from Corned Beef Sandwiches and Quesadillas to BBQ Chicken and something called MishMosh on there.

Lacking the concentration and patience to go through that madness, I just decided to order the pastrami and hope for the best. The pastrami was pretty standard deli style, lots of meat and bread and not much else. It was ok, but I guess I’m more a fan of Capriotti’s or The Hat. I will most definitely be back, but to try one of the other million things on their menu.

This last picture definitely made me regret not picking up a bag of cookies/pastries before we left.
